Grissini are long and thin sticks of crisp, dry bread originating in the Turini region and the surrounding area in Italy. They are originally thought to have been created in the 14th century; although according to a local story, they were invented by a baker in Lanzo Torinese (northern Italy) in 1679.
Made in Italy from a traditional recipe, Val Verde Grissini are made using only the finest ingredients with extra virgin olive oil giving its unique taste and flavour. Val Verde Salted Grissini are traditional breadsticks lightly dusted with high quality Sicilian salts and made with extra virgin olive oil without containing hydrogenated fats.
